It’s Christmas Day! <3 I believe it’s the 3rd (or maybe 4th?) CHRISTmas we spent away from home, so it made me a bit melancholy kasi iba talaga ang pasko sa Pinas. But you know what they say, home is where the heart is. And my heart is where Kap & the kids are. Today, our hearts (and tummies) are at Nabezo Shabu-Shabu in Shinjuku, hehe.
Sky’s the limit daw ang budget ni sir Kap dahil nga Pasko. Pero dapat hindi aabot ng 1k php per person lol. Paano kaya naging sky’s the limit yun? ;)) We all chose the Nabezo Course (1.5k php eat all you can beef, pork, veggies, rice, noodles & dessert for 100 minutes). So #lamna, dagdag-bawas sa dinner namin mamaya yung 500 php excess. 😛

Since it’s Christmas Day, chill day (DAW) kami. Ang pagkaka-alam ko sa chill day walang lakaran na kaganapan. Eh ang chill day pala sa kanila puro walking! @_@
Our itinerary for the day is exploring the Shinjuku Gyoen (3 different gardens: Japanese, French, English). Biglang nag-throwback ako pagdating namin sa hardin. Parang nung time ba na pumunta kami sa Central Park in New York. “It’s a chill day today mommy, park lang tayo.” Chill nga, nangisay ako sa lamig kakalakad buong araw!) Ganyang-ganyan din nung nakaraan, paskong-pasko, tandang-tanda ko pa ang lahat!
Pagkapasok palang namin, uuuuuy dahon!! Tara Honey magpa-gulong-gulong tayo kunwari koreanovela. Walang ganyan (fall) sa Pinas! Itong uto-utong asawa ko naman, sumama sa akin magpa-gulong-gulong. Aba! Ang hirap pala tumayo pagkatapos. It takes a village! ;))
The park is 144 acres big, so imagine me walking at my sloooow pace, inabot kami buong mag-hapon umikot! Buti nalang malaki ang baon nilang pasensya nila sa akin. By the time we finished looking around & taking various photos, it was dinnertime na -my favorite activity, yehey!
Tempura Tendo Tenya was our dinner destination. Ate found this online na mura daw at masarap. Eh meron din pala dito sa Pinas nyan, pero wa care, tomguts so eat lang to our hearts’ content.
After a quick dinner, we headed to Roponggi Hills dahil last day na daw ng Christmas display. Each year, the 400m stretch of Keyakizaka behind Roppongi Hills becomes one of the most popular spots with brilliant blue LEDs decorating the trees and Tokyo Tower providing the perfect backdrop. The illuminations begin in early November and runs only until December 25 from around 5pm – 11pm each night. Buti nalang inabot pa namin!
Lucked out when the Go Karts passed us while we were taking a self-we! I really wanted to book this activity pero the kids said kailangan daw ng International license huhu, sayang! </3
Babalik kami ni Kap sa JaFun this Feb. Sana meron sa pupuntahan namin, Fukuoka, I’ll come prepared!
