Early morning of Saturday last week, we enjoyed the Balicasag tour laid out for us by our gracious host RYAN CHAN, with Dolphin Watching as our main agenda & snorkeling too on the side.
.
Because we wouldn’t be back in time for our breakfast buffet, and so we wouldn’t be rushing, the Bellevue Staff so generously packed some breakfast for us to enjoy on the boat. I’m telling you, The Bellevue Resort really knows how to pamper their guests! <3
At exactly 5 am & with just a few hours of sleep, we were all raring to go & see them dolphins!
We were still oh so sleepy but this beautiful sight makes it all worth the sleep-walking. <3 God is truly magnificent & you can see Him in His every creation.
So beautiful. I’m not a nature girl but THIS gets to me.
The view of the lovely BELLEVUE RESORT from our boat. We are surrounded by beauty that it’s impossible not to be in a good mood so early in the morning. ๐
There is a rental place where you can borrow snorkeling equipments but we brought our own for sanitary purposes. The resort provided the life jackets.
We also spotted a HUGE TURTLE but it got shy & swam away. ;(
When staying in Bellevue Resort, you don’t actually have to go far because the sand there is powdery white & fine. But if you love to snorkel, then you really have to go to Balicasag because of the corals & tropical fishes that abound.
Midway, we were so hungry that we were so thankful for our packed breakfast of bangus, tocini & longanisa with rice, juice, bread & fruits! What is spoiled!
We really thought we wouldn’t get to see the dolphins after an hour but they suddenly appeared by THE droves. HAPPINESS! <3
Our boatman took us to the ISOLA DI FRANCESCO sandbar. It is privately owned but the owner was so generous to allow the public to enjoy it as well.
While at the sandbar, we were approached by fishermen selling various seafoods..
Which of course we had to try. They were so cheap too! \m/
RICHARD had at least 5 rounds of Uni! Only for 100 pesos!
We enjoyed this the most though. The fisherman said it was abalone but we didn’t think so. ๐ It was chewy & rubbery, tasted like squid. Oh so good, especially with vinegar! <3
Thank you BELLEVUE RESORT & RYAN CHAN for such a beautiful day spent with amazing people.. and sea creatures too!
