Kap & Me My Kids The GOppets

Taal Lake Again

Because our summer wasn’t eventful, the waters actually became the kids’ go-to destination. And they usually go with, or bring along, friends so of course every single time, I had to go too. Sino mag-aasikaso sa kanila diba. Mommy duties. GAH!

Hindi ako magpapanggap. I am just a pointer sister. 😛 We need one of our angels to cook & clean. Taga turo lang ako.

Taal Lake is always a favorite with Kap because..

1.) The rooms don’t cost a lot. A single room with a queen bed & aircon (common bathroom) is 950 php/night plus kuryente bill. A family room is 2,500 php/night also with aircon & 2 queen beds plus own bathroom. Mura nga, hindi lang kagandahan.

First off, 26 Sta. Maria Resort is NOT beachfront kasi nga lakeside. 😛 So if you’re thinking of sand, sea, and lounging around -this location is NOT for you. If you don’t have a boat, or you are not planning on renting a boat, swimming is not advisable because ma-lumot sobra. Pag-ahon mo si dugong ka na. To fully enjoy this resort, you must either bring your own boat, or rent one so you can “island hop”. Otherwise all you can do is throw frisbees around, cook, and have a picnic.

“Islang hopping” in Taal. You have to venture out in your boat for picture-worthy photos. Most of the guests bring their boats. You have to call Walter/Dang in advance for motorized boat rentals (read: not speedboat).

Ate brought along her gym buddies on our last trip. <3

2.) Kap can bring his speed(less) boat & toys for the big boys. 😛 and my Babyson can wakeboard all day -his current passion.

Alam nyo, may kayabangan din itong binata ko. @_@ And his dad enables him.

Ang kunsintidor na ama! 😐

3.) You bring your own food to picnic so tipid since we won’t be eating in restaurants.

Thank you so much to SOT & SARS for the yummy pasalubong! <3 Sot promised me a Big Mac & boy did he deliver. Special talaga seeing there was no nearby McDo. It satisfied my almost-daily craving. Thank you Sot! :-* And maaaaan! These mallow-filled cookies are THE BOMB! Sars was the one who made my Ms. Piggy Mother’s Day cake, you remember that right? Do visit her Facebook page, PATEACHERIEHERE to order super yummy cookies & cakes. Thank you Sars, these cookies were the highlight of my dinner! <3

I like getting to know my kids’ friends. I’m happy that they feel comfy enough with us to wanna eat together. 🙂 Wala din naman silang choice eh kasi iisa ang mesa HAHAHA!

4.) Meanwhile, the girls like to go not for the thrill of it, but for the million & one selfies & we-fies! ;))

taal-lake-santa-maria-resort-talisay-10

Selfies! Me: Look here Bae. Lovey: No mommy just continue taking pictures even if I’m not looking para candid. Me: Ooohhh. May ganyan! ;))

taal-lake-santa-maria-resort-talisay-11

And we-fies! Photoshoot ang nangyari.

I also tried doing the same pose. Kaso ayaw din ng tadhana! ;)) Kay Kap my Kap lang pumasa. Kaya lumubog na lang ako sa tubig, to drown my sorrows away. #NapakasakitKuyaEddie

Thank you so much Honey for doing your best to make it a fun summer for everyone. Pasasaan ba’t maiikot din natin ang mundo. #GOppetsTakeTheWorld <3

Good morning, Ms. Jane! I’m glad you were able to enjoy pa rin this summer. It isn’t about the expensiveness of the place but the precious moments you’ve had with the fambam…

Sarap ng kain nyo po. First time to see you na kumakain ng nakakamay. 🙂

Don’t worry, Ms. Jane, maybe next summer you’ll be able to pose ala FHM na rin like Ate… 🙂

Sooo wonderful memories that your kids can look back on.

Grabe ang form ni Jonah while wakeboarding! Hunk! Si Jana as usual is sooo sexy! And Lovey is so adorable. Syempre, kanino pa magmamana? You have a wonderful family, Mommy Jane! You inspire a lot of people on how family life should be – sugar, spice but everything nice!

I wouldn’t peg you as someone who eats okra and alamang!!! Now I just love you more because of that. =) #lovethosealso

Ang saya-saya naman! Wish we had those growing up. Sadly, puro aral ang ginawa ko. So much so that my friends called me “Webster B. Colliers, Jr. (B for Brittanica) when I was in High School. True story! All in good fun, of course. hehehe… So ang swerte ng mga kiddies mo that they have these kinds of memories to look back on. =)

Hello and good day… Awesome pictures. You and your family definitely had a good time, pictures you shared proves that. My friends and I are booked already… Can I ask for advice? Do you think we should bring all the necessary supplies… We have planned to bring cooked food for the 1st day, however were staying for 2 nights. Is there a wet market (palengke) nearby? So we can just buy fresh meat and produce. Thanks very much. If there are any other tips you can share, it’s highly appreciated. Thanks and God bless!

Hi Cedric. 🙂 Yes there’s a wet market nearby you can ask DANG (caretaker) to buy & cook for you so you can just stay & play. If you are junkfood people, I sugest you bring those instead aside from the first meal. Also drink, and lotsa dessert! Yun ang wala. Enjoy! 🙂

Thank you very much Ms. Jane for the tips… We’re actually excited with this trip. While all other resorts in batangas are fully booked this March, initially discovered 26 Santa Maria resort on trip advisor with only 1 review, finding your blog really sealed the deal for us. We can definitely immerse ourselves with lots of activities without going broke… The accommodation is really affordable. Thank you again Ms. Jane God bless you and your beautiful family.
