Two saturdays ago, Kap & I were finally able to go on a date 3 weeks into his sucky seminar. Ok, a SOMEWHAT date coz a cute liliput was with us. We had a chaperone! 😉 Ate & my babyson had debut rehearsals that afternoon in Mariott hotel so we were hoping to sneak in a movie & dinner date while the 2 older kids were doing their thing.

GRAVITY is a 2013 3D space drama film starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as surviving astronauts from a damaged Space Shuttle.

However, we were sidetracked when we peeked in the ballroom & saw a fashion show brewing! 😛 Naturally, we HAD to stay & watch. I am a stage mommah after all.

My friendship Sheila, the ever soshal mommy of the debutant, is the founder & President of Front Media Entertainment. She brought in some experts to give a quick modeling lesson to the 18 girls & 18 boys who belonged to the entourage. 2 were ABS-CBN talent agents & 1 was a mentor to 2013 Ms. World winner, Megan Young herself (or so he claimed).

The theme for the debut was VOGUE & instead of the traditional 18 candles & roses, the celebrant -together with her entourage, were going to model & strut their stuff on the runway.

The 2 talent agents from ABS-CBN who helped out mommy Sheila for the modeling portion of the debut presentation.

Sorry, but I’m really so very proud of my ate’s stance here. Model na model na talaga ang dating niya grabe! She really stood out in my opinion. <3

The boys had a dance portion with the celebrant.

My babyson caught the eye of the 2 ABS-CBN talent agents & they gave me a card and asked me to contact them asap, teehee. Too bad my he doesn’t want to be an artista. Sayang, type ko pa namang maging alalay niya hmp!

Si ate ang itinulak ko coz my babyson didn’t want. But they said she was too old na to be groomed as an artista. At 19, old na pala sa showbiz, gosh! Age daw for talent discoveries were between 15-18. And besides, pang-model or beauty queen daw ang aura niya coz she has the height, the poise, and the body. I agree 100%. But she’s so busy with pre-med as it is. I will have to shelve my artista ambitions for them for now! :'(

I’m so glad ate relented when I pushed this top on her. At first she didn’t want because it looked too daring daw. But it’s like it was made for her, don’t you think? Top & jeans from Topshop.

She was so worried with the lacy top, especially the see-thru back, but she really pulled it off I think. <3 It doesn’t look slutty on her.

To console me from my shattered dreams of becoming a full-fledged stage mommah, Kap treated me (and our chaperone of course) to a sumptuous dinner at Tao Yuan. He really knows how to make me feel better! ;))
