Ate announced one day that she was having a naugh-TEA party. Say what???? Then she explained that it was a tea party for big girls. Naturally, my immediate question was.. CAN I JOIN???

She said no. A resounding NO. Hmp. Party pooper! She was probably scared that I’d be the life of the party & outshine her. Lels. JOKE! (1/2)

So the night prior, we fixed our otherwise formal living room to a boudoir! 😛 She got some racy thongs (I’m not telling whose! Just know that they are BIG!) & scattered them around the area for a touch of naughty. And some pearls for a little bit of nice. Girls after all, are sugar, spice, and everything nice.

Of course ang daming nabungkal sa baon. She kept shrieking MOOOOOM!!! 😛 Lumabas na ang sikretong pinakatatago ko. LOL.

For her menu, since sit was an afternoon tea party, I ordered a party tray from Almon Marina for an assortment of sandwiches, a sushi party tray from Omakase, popped open some bottles of wine (hey, it’s supposed to be naughty! Besides it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere, right?), and had our cook whip up some pasta & chicken fingers.

They’re girls anyway. With teeny tiny stomachs. Who go to the gym every time they humanly can. So they don’t eat much, I assumed. 😛 (With my boy, it’s always manly food like pizza & pasta. Yung nakakabusog talaga.)

I like that Ate‘s circle of friends is expanding. She has some from our neighborhood, she has some from her high school days, she has some from her college days. And now she has some from her gym class as well. My lovely Ate is such a social butterfly now & has bloomed and come full circle. Besides, I like having her friends over because I get to know them too & see the kind of people she hangs out with. Our home has always been party central & I love hosting their get-togethers because coming to our home only means that they’re comfy with the GOppets. <3 And I want it to stay that way.
