Food & Dining Kap & Me My Kids Staycations & Vacations The GOppets

Osaka ’23, Day 7

Once again, my babylove had to stay in the hotel room for her morning class. So while I kept her company, the 3 stooges hied off to the market for some last-minute sushi, sashimi, and beef!

Do they feed the fish & cow differently in Japan? Bakit kahit sa talipapa lang, napaka-sarap at sariwa ng isda at karne nila kumpara sa karne at isda natin sa ‘Pinas? ;))

Wais & tipid Kap always puts the heavy stuff in our backpacks/hand carry para hindi kami ma-over baggage allowance, teehee.

Checked out at 2pm (paid 3 hours extra for 1 room just so Jena had a place to take her online MBA exam. Wala kasi silang quiet nook sa hotel lobby).

Went back to the market for a late lunch, 2nd na actually for the musketeers. Kanina pa sila kain ng kain! When in Japan, you really don’t need to go to an expensive resto for quality food kasi kahit sa tabi-tabi lang, fresh at masarap talaga ang mga pagkain. Which is why Kap doesn’t mind spending, basta Japan ang destination.

Time flew by so fast, it was finally time for us to leave. Short vacay over for Kap & my 3 busy, always tired kids. If only I had billions in store, I would make them all quit what they’re doing to just stay home with me and travel the world. Hay, wishful thinking.

But then again, maybe we enjoy what we have because it’s not in excess. There is always something to look forward to & aspire for, right? Pag lahat meron ka, wala na yung dream & magic when it finally happens.

**Another travel tip, when traveling budget aircraft, always get bulkhead seats. The additional 800 pesos per person is so worth it, believe me! Lalo na’t kung malaking bulas ka. The extra legroom is HEAVEN.

We were planning on eating dinner at the airport na, but when we got there, all the restos were closed. So after checking in & stationing me by the departure gate to man the bags, they all went to scavenge for food. Nag-exit pa daw muna uli sila just to be able to buy our dinner at a Family Mart. So if you’re on a night flight, I suggest you bring food na, or buy before checking in.

Thank you for joining us in our jafun trip. I super enjoyed looking over the pictures again as I blogged this series. I hope you felt that you were with us too! :-* ‘Til our next adventure.
