Food & Dining Kap & Me My Kids Staycations & Vacations The GOppets

Osaka ’23, Day 5

Because I didn’t get to join them at Nishiki Market in Kyoto (or anywhere else for that matter), we woke up early today to have breakfast at Kuromon Ichiba Market. Kahit grabe ang pagod from our USJ bout, still gotta make each day count at pauwi na kami soon, huhu.

Just looking at the piccies now while I’m editing is making me drool, waah!

In fact, everything at the market was soooo fresh & yummy that we had breakfast not once, but TWICE!

And when I say everything, I mean LAHAT! Even the fruits!

;)) #habanghair

Agenda for today was shopping at Rinku Premium Outlet. Last time we came to Osaka, Kap was able to score a Seiko watch way below retail price. Nagbakasali syang may mabibili uli this time around – kaso umuwing luhaan. ;P

He bought some shirts & shoes lang, terno daw kami. Ako naman, Godiva ice cream & chocolates. And Mcdo nga pala, trololol!

Ang mga bagets din, walang nabili coz the brands they like & patronize are not in the outlets. Mahal ang taste nila, sobra. :))

The girls got bored quickly after not finding any of the stores they liked, so they asked if we could just go ahead & “explore” on our own.

Meaning, may matinding shopingan uli na magaganap. I’m scared.. I’m very scared! 😛

Days leading to our trip, may nakahanda na silang listahan. I’ve been hearing Lululemon & Ami Paris among others in their chitter-chatter. Yan na pala yan. Mukha namang basic?

Duktura was able to buy 2 Ami jackets kahit na pagkainit-init sa Pinas. Menika bought 1, kasi medyo na-konsensya pa. Konting mga Lululemon, and 1 pair of shoes each. That’s it, goodbye yen. Hello bankrupt. ;P

How scary how far (or little) money can go nowadays. @_@  Si Babyson ko, wise spender. Pina-convert nya sakin to peso most of his tirang yen na pocket money, pinadinepost sa savings account nya.

As rising temperatures make traditionally hot and sticky Japanese summer months more severe, those toiling outside are turning to the fan-jakketo. The de rigueur jacket in Japan for this year’s summer season is a functional little number with twin electric fans installed around the lower back.

Nakita nyang suot yan ng isang trabahador while he was out with the kids. Hindi na nya tinantanan at talagang hinagilap saan pwede bumili for me.

I know he means well, pero hello? Saan ko naman susuotin yan? Magmukha akong tanga? Kaya sila naka-taxi ni Babyson in one of the photos above, kasi sinadya pa nila yung factory for his beloved but bitchy wife na hindi marunong mag-appreciate ng thoughtful gesture nya, hekhek.

I forced him to go back, return it, and get a refund. Ang mahal kaya! Php 8k?? Ibigay nalang nya sakin ang cash, matuwa pa ako!

Heniways, met up for dinner at a random resto called Kushiemon in Shinsekai. Bati na kaming 2 by then, wahaha.

We had some energy left after a sumptuous dinner filled with kwento, laughter, and catching up. Just a little, but enough to take us to the MEGA donki nearby.

Tomorrow is our last FULL day in Osaka. Nakakalungkot. It’s always the best time when with one is with family. </3

Susunod!
