Brunch at Mcdo Hong Kong (Total spend: 150 hkd). Love ko talaga ‘to! And our day has officially started. We found that eating at non-peak hours saves us stress from getting vacant tables & chairs. Less people, less noise equals happier me.

But not before feeding our bag addiction. Bags before breakfast, that’s the GOppets girls motto, lol. After 3 back-breaking days of looking at various bags, Balenciaga still won out over many other brands.
Nagbunga din ang #cheapeats #cheapstay namin, Kap allowed each of us 1 big purchase -no questions asked. Hay, may deal or no deal pang kaganapan sa HK. Para hindi sya ma-highblood, he just closed his eyes, covered his ears & stayed in one corner so he wouldn’t see the price, or hear our convo hehe.

Walked around some more during the lunch peak hours to avoid the crowd. We found ourselves window shopping at the huge & pristine Harbour City Mall. Stretching for nearly a kilometer along the Kowloon waterfront, Harbour City not only boasts more than 400 shops and 50 restaurants but also two cinemas, three hotels, Hong Kong’s cruise terminal and a ferry terminal servicing Macau and China.

2pm was the perfect time to have lunch at Din Tai Fung in Silvercord Mall (right across Harbour City Mall. Total spend 680 hkd). Waiting time was shorter & the crowd more controlled. Din Tai Fung is coming to the Phils. but I thought it nice to try the homeland version muna for comparison.

The rest of the afternoon was to be spent in Mongkok again. More walking, more shopping. So we split up because at this point, my feet felt like lead. The heart is willing, but the body has long since crashed. Suko na ako! My Lovey took pity on me & got me “home” while the 3 energizer bunnies kept going on.. and on.. and on!

This served as our last night in HK. Will surely miss our UBE. Kahit na masusungit ang mga tao, kahit na sukdulan ng pangit ang tinirahan namin, kahit na mamatay-matay ako sa sobrang pagod at hapo, #DaBest parin itong ultimate bonding experience ng GOppets in HK. No phone calls to make, no work, together 24 hours/day. Ang sarap.
PS: And of course, not to be forgotten, the pasalubong! We heard that Jenny Bakery makes the best local cookies & candies for gifts. Must buy: Macadamia Cranberries Nougat Candy (L) 28 pcs/100 hkd.

I miss HK! I always stay din sa TST. And I don’t really like bags, but if I’ll ever buy a designer bag it will be Balenciaga. 🙂

If you ever go on a trip to HK again, let me know, I’ll send you a list of nice places to eat and shop. Also if you have the opportunity to choose hotels, the Marco Polo in the middle of Harbour City is the best…direct access to the hotel!
