Hellooooo February! And hellooooo guys! :-*
It’s like I never felt January. We were out of the country first half of the month that by the time we got back, the last half just passed me by like a whirlwind, parang hindi ko man lang natikman. I was in a zombie state while the kids went back to their normal routine in school at si Kap naman in his shops. Ako lang ang napag-iwanan.
I know every year I say this, but: kaka-pasko lang, Pebrero na agad?! I’m super excited for 2018 though. Kap is turning GOLDEN!! And we are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary as well this year. Our hashtag for both milestones is #OneIsSilverAndTheOtherIsGold .. ang cute noh? 😉
Hndi lang yan, eto pa: #UYwereGOingtotheUS , #UYstillGOingstrong (and IF Kap relents & we do get to renew our vows in Vegas.. #UYwereGOingtogetmarried ) Hahaha o di ba? Wala lang magawa sa buhay? ;))
I wanted to give Kap a big birthday bash for his coming of age, but you know him -super low key. Ayaw din nyang magpakasal uli, isang beses lang daw, good for life na! So sabi nya alis nalang kaming pamilya hehe. He has become quite the travel bug, this OTL of mine. Eh di mas mabuti. God willing, USA here we come!!! \m/ #whitechristmas

We gave the kids a choice between a month-long tour of Canada, Australia, or Tokyo. But it’s been ages since they’ve set foot in the U.S. nalimutan na daw nila ang itsura. Asuuuus, alam ko naman bakit nyo gusto sa Amerika, wag nang magkunwari! Shopping galore again in all the outlets & supersize food trips. 😛 Balikbayan boxes na talaga tayo pag-uwi sa mega-shopping na gagawin ninyo!

Akala pa ng Daddy nila makakatipid sya by not having a big party haha. Oh Kap my Kap, when will you ever learn when it comes to your girls? ;))
So guys, any recommendations you can give on places to see, food to eat, shops to check out, we would super appreciate! Ang plano is we land sa East Coast right after their school break in time for Christmas (NY + maybe Philly, Washington, Niagara & Boston if time permits), then fly to West Coast (LA, Vegas + Mexico sana) halfway, and anywhere else we can go in between. Parang gusto pa ngang mag-Florida uli but let’s see. Baka masyado nang magastos kawawa si Kap. ;P

So yeah, at least we have another highlight to look forward to this year. I swear, we were all on the brink of depression the last couple of days of our Osaka trip. Ngayon masasaya at masisigla na uli kami! <3
Henyways, I am including our #GOsaka2018 itinerary here so lovingly prepared by my Jana. Do send her a thank you message please if this guide helps you. :-*

Sooo happy that you’re back!

I can suggest some places and restos in the East Coast, next time.
I am so happy to know that you have missed me. Thank you so much, it’s really heart-warming. Yes please I would so love to get your recommendations on the East Coast. Mwah mwah! :-*
February 1, 2018 at 8:21 pmWow, you’re going from coast to coast…am sure enjoy ‘yan. In NY, you can go to the usual jaunts: Rockefeller Plaza ( ice skating is a fun activity), Empire State Bldg, Central Park (carriage ride for you and Kap), Times Square, Dumbo Brooklyn and of course shopping around 5th and 6th avenues.St. Patrick Cathedral, if you’re ever curious to see what’s inside. Jana is very good with planning your itineraries, am sure she can build one depending on what your family would want to do. We usually stay in Grand Hyatt in 42nd street kasi below the hotel is the Grand Terminal Station, at very accessible wherever you want to go kasi nasa middle ng Manhattan. Pag December, there is a winter village with shops in Bryant Park, with nice ambiance. Knowing Jana, she will find an airbnb, but pick something within the vicinity of 42nd street. Unless of course, you are staying with friends. And of course, Chinatown in NY for Kap…we love going to Ping’s Seafood Restaurant, in Mott St. So anyway, I live in between NY and Washington DC, an hour’s away from Philly. If you are up to it, am inviting you for lunch or dinner in my house, you can use my house as rest stop to eat and/or sleep. Just let me know. 🙂
