Summer came late for Ate. School finished May 20 for her so that left us with practically nothing in terms of a dream vacation. Tapos our passports expire in 6 months time so they are basically unusable. 😐 My greatest dilemma was I only had a 2-week window between her end of school & my Lovey’s start of school 1st week of June. That, and a bunch of complications from my end in between made life so very complicated for the GOppets! @_@

I’m glad Ate has 2 months of sweet escape before delving into her senior year in College. My Lovey on the other hand, has been having the time of her life with her friends. A while back, she went to a Katy Perry concert at the new Philippine Arena in Bulacan..

Tickets ran out fast so I’m really thankful to my Baby Bear JENG for coming up with 3 extra tickets. What a mother would do to get hold of these precious concert seats! @_@ Thank you Jeng! :-*

The girls had an absolutely great time. To make sure of their safety though, I had them accompanied by a bodyguard (buti pa sya nakapag-Katy Perry diba). Ang layo ng Bulacan ha! At least I can somehow compensate their lack of summer ganaps, frills & thrills with concerts. Too bad the Sam Smith concert got cancelled. Boo! 🙁

and a couple of weeks ago, she went to the Close Up Forever Summer with her Ate & her Ate‘s own set of friends. They rode together, the lil ones & the big ones, so mommy is panatag. I love that My Lovey & her Ate are close & that her Ate doesn’t mind that they are going together. And vice versa.

In between are birthday surprises, cool dips in the pool.. or the lake.. or the beach. I can’t be happier for my baby girl who had a relatively good summer in spite of no long trips in the horizon. </3

I really really wanted a summer of fun for the GOppets but I have been recalled to the family business so what I had intended isn’t actually what is happening. Like they say though, when life gives you lemons. 😛
