My son turned 14.. boohoo they’re all growing up so fast! I’m feeling the empty nest syndrome already! :((

As it was just recollection day in school yesterday, my 2 girls opted to stay in and spend the day with me running errands, mostly preparing for my baby son’s birthday lunch! ;P But my binata wanted to go to school so he can have lunch with his homies. 3 words: Empty Nest Syndrome!!! @_@

My baby son’s the surf & turf type. He loves sushi.. but he also loves steak! So the only way to make his day was to feed him his favorites  the whole day! 😉

For lunch, I got his favorite sushi platter from Omakase. Power-walked as I never did before to get his lunch -and cake, to him to school on time!

His favorite chocolate mousse from Mary Grace. The candles were too cute.. I couldn’t resist! This doesn’t mean I tolerate him to drink. And he doesn’t like the bitter taste anyway. 😛

With 2 of his 3 homies.. Wonder where Luis went off to??? Luigi’s, Luis’ & my babyson’s birthdays are 2 days apart lang. Maybe that’s why they are sobrang magkakasundo! @_@

For dinner, he specifically requested for steak at his favorite steakhouse.. all the way in tagaytay! On a school night! Sigh.. it was his day, though. So off to tagaytay we went. Turns out he just wanted to use his leather jacket, hahaha. BOYS!!! @_@

I just <3 my baby son to bits!!! I’m glad that he still allows me to cuddle & hold hands even in public! ;)) I hope that he will never feel shy to let his mommy hold him & snuggle!

To my baby son, thank you for being such a good son. You have never caused me any heartache, nor headache. You have always been such a diligent & smart student, please keep it up, anak. I know that you will be a successful sports doctor someday, with God’s help & blessing, because you know what you want & you always strive to reach for your dreams. Remember to always be kind & humble, a good friend & example. Don’t let bad friends influence you, instead, be a good role model for them and make me more proud than I already am. I love you so much, my baby son. God made my life complete when He gave me you! <3
