It’s Jasmin’s birthday today. The kids decided to throw her a salubong con harana for her 17th birthday last night. (And their traditional cake fight of course!) 😛 They’re sweet to each other that way. I cannot stress how happy I am that they all found each other. The SF kids are the cousins mine never had. We can’t even imagine a trip without them, it’s like there’s a part of us missing without them.

My Lovey chose a cake with plenty of icing. The greasier & harder to take off from the hair & face, the better! ;))

The boys surprised Jasmin with a birthday harana as soon as the girls came back from their yoga session, serenading her with the song “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz.

What’s best is we all live in 1 village & our streets are like a hop, a skip, and a jump away from each other’s. So anytime they decide to ransack & invade one another’s homes, the parents feel safe. No matter how late it gets sometimes (most of the time!) ;))

In such a short span, we’re all so comfortable with each other already that we have gone to so many places together. We really are like 1 big happy family! <3

Our dear ate Marita also celebrated her advance birthday last night. Her birthday is just a day after Jasmin’s.

I so love my ate Marita dearly. She is the kindest, most generous, most loving, stress-free person I have ever met in my life. And she takes care of just about every one. Ate M is exactly the kind of ate I would love to have for a sister, given the chance. <3
