Kap’s birthday fell on a weekday, busy day for him, busy day for kids. Me? Not so much. 😛 My plate is always empty without them. They are my life. Anyway, I arranged for his birthday celebration to be a day after his actual natal day so the kids & the parentals can join in on the fun. But of course, I will never let a very special day of a very VERY special person go unnoticed. <3

Because he knew we were already celebrating the day after his actual birthday, he wanted a no fuss celebration for the birth date itself. Kap is like that, a no-fuss kind of guy. Low maintenance, low key. Which is fine coz then all the attention can go to Moi, lels.

He started his day with a surprise from his staff.. Everyone loves my Kap because he is really a great, easy-going guy with plenty of smiles & laughter to go around. He is also the king of Vale. Lagi nalang may buma-vale mga tauhan nya. Naka 1-year in advance na and still going. But one thing I can be proud of, even though my Kap is a tightwad, he is very generous to his staff & always puts their needs ahead of what is right & practical -business wise. Kaya ayan, laying lugi! 😛

Because he had so many pending job orders to finish, more documents to submit & people to talk to, he came home for a harried & hurried lunch & got right back to work after a quick bite. I was frustrated more for him than for me because he’s been so busy that I wanted him to relax for a day & just veg. He’s like the energizer bunny that keeps on going & going.

Kap got back home a little after 5 dead-tired and I almost let him be. But no. We needed to celebrate his coming into life. Even with just a simple dinner & movie after.

Another surprise greeted him at home. A very tender, juicy, delicious little piggy from one of our dearest & truest friend! <3 So this became our instant appetizer haha.

At first, my Lovey had issues with this little piggy because it really looks like our dear JELA.. don’t you think? And the whole fambam just loves & adores her to bits & pieces…

Anyhoo. What we found out. Age has really caught up to us. Midway through the movie, we were both snoring soundly & only woke when the lights turned up. And it wasn’t even past 10! @_@

But generally, I’m glad that he had a good day filled with surprises. Our babies made sure his day started & ended with gifts…

And yes, because he’s a tightwad, he wanted to eat at SAMBOKOJIN because of the birthday promo. GAH! My Kap will never change. But I love him for all that he is. <3
