Only 2 full days left (2.75 technically) and we’re pretty much done with our itinerary (thank you again Ate for making a superb plan of our daily adventures. We have certainly covered a lot of grounds, domo arigato to you!). That leaves us some time to just enjoy Osaka at a leisurely pace.
Lunch again today at the uber clean Kuromon Market for some sushi, yeheey! \m/

Kap decided we’d take in the beauty of the city today. We’re always underground getting around Osaka, so aside from the touristy sights, we don’t get to see much of the outside world. Kap invited me to a hop-on/hop-off date, just the 2 of us while the giblings bond on their own before another round of excruciating school stuff, boo! Of course I said yes -any moment I can get to spend with him, I’d jump at the chance. Pag-uwi namin he’ll be busier than ever huhu. Can’t complain though, Kap needs to werq werq werq so we can go off again somewhere come December woot woot! ;))
Because we’d get ligaw in a heartbeat on our own, the kids assisted us in getting tickets for the OCAT Wonder Loop & took us to the first bus stop. Lucky day for us because we got a buy-one-take-one pass and at a discounted rate pa of ¥2.8k (1,400 php for TWO)!! We started ur adventure at Namba Park (start/end point of the guided ride). (You can also buy your tickets in advance from KLOOK for $28.30 or 1,400 php for ONE).
We’ve already been to most, if not all, of the places on the list. But like I said, via subway, so this time around we got to see the way above-ground. I was looking forward to riding a double-decker bus as advertised. Last 2 days to take in the cold air so I braced myself & dressed appropriately, only to find out tinanggal na pala nila ang double decker huhu & it’s just the plain old bus now servicing the sightseers.

Turns out, we were the only passengers that day, loool! We had the bus all to ourselves, it was so quiet kaya maya-maya nakatulog na kami. The city tour takes around 2 hours so Kap & I had a good nap. Zzzzzzz. Iba na talaga pag tumatanda, siesta calls!

That is until he got a glimpse of a Seiko store along the way. Nag-panic agad sya and asked to be let down immediately.
Since our arrival, he had been going in & out of Seiko stores looking for a Japanese limited edition watch. Last time we were in Taiwan, Kap was able to get a limited edition watch with Taiwanese characters. So from then on, he wanted to make it a goal to collect a Seiko watch from every country we’d visit. Sa kasamaang palad, the Japanese watch he googled wasn’t available in any of the stores na napapasukan namin. He thought it was his lucky day today chancing upon a stand-alone store (meaning not in a mall). Huhubells, bigo pa rin.

But it was a lucky day for me though as I saw a true-blue Geisha on our way to the bus stop. Kap actually pointed her out to me. It was my wish to see one talaga up close & personal & I’d almost given up hope on ever seeing one. Good thing nalingon si Kap & he saw the ladies getting dropped off so I had a quick selfie. Ate warned me not to take photos of Geishas if I ever did encounter one, so I took heed at baka masampal ako ng hindi oras. ;P
Geisha (芸者) (/ˈɡeɪʃə/; Japanese: [ɡe̞ːɕa̠]), geiko (芸子), or geigi (芸妓) are traditional Japanese female entertainers who act as hostesses. Their wide skills include performing various arts such as Japanese classical music and traditional dance, witty games and conversation, traditionally to entertain male customers, but also female customers today.

Kap was able to befriend our neighborhood butcher yesterday so there was a good number of quality steak freezing in our ref. We decided to just go home & have another home-cooked meal by our superhero. Sobrang lamig na these past few nights that walking around has become difficult. The cold air can be harsh & biting.

Came home to these packages from a dear reader. I was really feeling sad on our way back to the apartment -realizing I’d never take the same route ever again after tomorrow night huhu. So this sweet gesture really took away the sadness in my heart. Thank you so much KITTY for the love, time, and effort you put into sending these to me. <3

After he cooked us steak, Kap cleaned & washed the dishes, utensils & pans. Straightened up the apartment a bit & put in a load of clothes in the washing machine after hanging the damp clothes to dry. Tapos nagligpit at nag-empake pa while we all climbed wearily in our beds to sleep. Hay Kap, no wonder, TL na TL ako sayo. :-*

One question – do Philippinos call a refrigerator “ref”? Made me smile as I got confused when I first read it.
