Day 6 Paris – London
—
So grateful for the men in my life. Carrying our heavy maletas 3 flights up & down a narrow winding stair is not easy. Every single time they’d come back up to the apartment to get another maleta a stream of guilt puts me to shame hehe. Sobrang kawawa.

Took the train from Paris to London..
Eurostar crosses the Channel Tunnel and reaches speeds of up to 186 mph. Clients board the train in the center of Paris and disembark in the center of London in 2:15 hours. Eurostar offer 3 Classes of Services: Standard (2nd class) $298, Standard Premier (1st class) $352 and Business Premier $432 (includes all taxes). Our 2.5 hour train fare: 25k php for 5 pax.
Caught the early train bound for London. Whad’ya know? “Hobnobbed” with Kendal Jenner & Jaden Smith at the train station. Lika na kunan kita Bae, I said. My Jena LOVES the Kardahians like cray. Kaso nahihiya, so si walang hiyang mother nalang ang gagawa ng paraan. Selfie! 😉

My thoughts on Paree? It’s such a beautiful city. Every nook & cranny is just instagrammable with the lovely architecture. Other than the noise we wake up to every moment of every day, I’d say our Paris trip was a success. But I think Filipinos are most considerate of others than the rest of the culture. In Paris, shouting matches & loud singing can be heard in the streets no matter what time it is. 1 am, 2 am, 3 am.. walang pinipiling oral. “Ole-ole-ole-oleeeee..” My eyebags are probably as big & as heavy as my maleta already, lol.
May pagka-sungit pa. There was a musician in the metro (see video on previous post, DAY 4), I took a video walking towards the exit. Minura ako. Ok lang, in french naman kaya romantic pa rin ang dating kahit na nakasimangot sya. Second, hindi ko naman naintindihan. Keber nalang. 😛
After 6 fast-paced days in the beautiful city of Paris, we were happy to move on to London. My dad’s youngest brother & his family lives in Essex so mas kampante ang loob ko knowing we have help in case of emergency. Plus he was so nice to pick us up from the airport & lend us a car the entire duration. Suuuuper convenient talaga.

So now we’re looking at a more convenient & relaxed lifestyle in London with a car & an enabling uncle hehe. Don’t mind me, masyado lang talaga akong spoiled brat. ;P
First order of business: money exchange! We came to europe with just US dollars & Euro, so we needed some English Pounds. And internet. And drinking water. So the most convenient one stop shop was the mall. THE MALL? Kamot ulo na naman si Kap my Kap hehe. Shopping na namaaaaan?
Lunch at Nando’s in Westfield Stratford. My Bae’s been longing to try Nando’s. Don’t worry, London’s staple – fish & chips next! 😉

By 3pm our apartment was ready. We checked in, left our maletas, did our bathroom business, then left in a hurry to finish as many sightseeing as humanly possible while we had expert tour guides hehe. Cut our time in half.

This post is way too long so I have to break it into 2 parts. Our first day sight-seeing in London, up next! 😉
