My mom is so cute. A while back -some years ago, because she knew I was a child at heart & loved all things Disney, she got me a share for Fantasy World when someone who owed her money sold it to her for 85k (highway robbery!). Hello mommy hindi na ako bata, matanda na ako, lol. :))

Ang kilala ko lang, Enchanted Kingdom. Hindi ko kilala itong fanta-fantasy world na ito so I decided to pay it a visit. Since Fantasy World was all the way in Tagaytay, it was an open opportunity for us to try Balay Dako for lunch. CLICK HERE to read about our recent visit.
After a late, heavy & carb-filled lunch (burp!), we proceeded to Fantasy World. Entrance fee, 1k/van maximum of 10 pax. Umurong akong bigla. HUWAT? May mina ba diyan? I asked the guard what we can do inside. Wala daw. Ikot lang then go out na. Sinuswirti? ;))

Fantasy World was constructed by a Japanese businessman as a theme park with residential condos inside the 195 hectare complex. Due to insufficient funds, construction stopped & now the property is operated and maintained by the homeowners association. Fantasy World is the mini replica of the castle built by King Ludwig II of Bavarian, Germany for his mother.
“Ma’am, 1 thousand pesos po kahit tingin lang. Sa labas nalang po kayo mag-picture.” Regardless if you’re 1 or 10, the fee remains the same. 1k! @_@ PASS! (nahawa na yata ako kay kapitan K!)
And so I huffed & I puffed & I climbed the rest of the way. But a fierce dragon stopped me from entering the magic mountain! 😛
He is no match for the evil queen (yes, me, wala nang iba!). I vowed to return, with my membership card in tow para libreng pasok).

Fantasy World Theme Parks, Amusement and Recreation Club, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit corporation established primarily as a membership club which was supposed to operate and maintain a country club, amusement theme park and water park for the exclusive use and benefit of its members, their families and guests. Fantasy World was envisioned to offer a complete family entertainment facility similar to those found in Disneyland, Disneyworld, Universal Studios, and other amusement and theme parks found throughout the world.
You become a co-owner of Fantasy World when you own at least one (1) share which is a proprietary share. Holders of shares are co-owners of Fantasy World and are considered members. Each membership-share is represented by one membership certificate. All members shall enjoy identical club privileges. They can use all the facilities of the club together with their immediate family members.

Fantasy World, I therefore conclude after my short visit, will, I’m afraid, remain a fantasy. Imbes na maging Disneyland, naging Dismal Land. Kawawang mommy, nagoyo!
Any suggestions or advice on what to do? 🙂 I’d rather donate the amount to charity.

November 11, 2016 at 12:38 pmHello, I have the same paper and certificate and membership cards expired last 2015….no need to update DAW???…but was advised na still honored sa gate to show the guards…. Sobrang layo so I have not paid “it” a visit yet only follow up from time to time at their office. A few years ago I was informed that meron KOREAN/s prospective buyer/s to develop it…then nanahimik …. then when I attended a realtor seminar… I heard that meron clients yung speaker na lawyer asking for her assistance how and what actions to take. So far I was assured by the office na tyaga tyaga lang meron pang pag-asa na madevelop fully…..huh!!! so problema tlga …… although the VALUE now is 187k daw per share…. u may call office to verify also……….

Requirements: letter about your purpose, date of shoot, name of persons na kasama, kung may props kayong dala, etc important details.
Send it personally sa office nila sa Pasay, then saka po iisched, para iinform muna yung mga guard sa FW
