Kap is really a good leader. And not only on the home front, but in general. He gets things done (albeit ever so slooooow-ly) & people respect and look up to him. If he were to run for any position, I’d vote for him in a heartbeat.

Take for example, he takes our church & civic duties seriously. He doesn’t let anything or anyone interfere with our church time. He sees to it that we are always complete as a family in worshipping, rain or shine. And it’s the same with our duties as citizens of the country. Hindi pwedeng magbulakbol. ;P

I’ve tried getting away from voting so many times in the past because admit it, it’s just so inconvenient. Nuknukan ng dami ang tao -mainit na, siksikan pa. Tapos, kadalasan may dayaan pang mangyayari. So I’m thinking, what’s the use. But not to Kap. No excuse is valid enough for him, even with the kids he sets a good example. I’m glad, because if not for him, we’d all probably run amuck, lol.

This 2016 serves as the 2 older kids’ first time to vote. To avoid the greater crowd, Kap decided we’d go in the morning of May 9, Monday. Based on our experience in the past, early morning is really the best time to go. Hindi pa masyadong masungit ang mga tao, at hindi pa hinog ang amoy sa kapaligiran. 😛

Even at 7am, parking was an improbability so we went on our trusty golf cart, which Kap can park just about anywhere it can fit hehe.

We are so blessed to have a nice, clean, and orderly voting center within the village. If it were anywhere else, good luck kay Kap getting me to go out & exercise my right. Palo na sa pwet kung palo!

The family that votes together plans for their future together. Missing our Bae, who has 2 more years to go before turning legal. And was still nestled in the warm cocoon of her comforter by the time we left, lol.

As I thought, Davao Mayor Rody Duterte & Rep. Leni Robredo won. They’re a good pair I think. What the mayor lacks in charm, decorum, and good graces, the gentle lady can fill. And whatever lakas ng look at tibay ng dibdib to strictly enforce discipline the compassionate mother of the nation may lack, the iron-fisted father will fill. Tit for tat.

The presumptive President swept the poll by more than six million votes on a campaign pledge to wipe out crime by killing tens of thousands of criminals. He reportedly garnered 16,601,997 votes, over 6.6 million more than his closest rival, administration candidate Mar Roxas.—
