As usual, Kap made arrangements for the Holy Week in less than stellar accommodations. We had an understanding that he can take me to the beach (and I will endure, maybe even enjoy it) PROVIDED he meets the following conditions:
1.) Kami lang – meaning no need for pakisama to other people since I am not a sun-and-sand kind of person. It will really take a huge effort on my part to be nice & act all happy around people who’s not family. Hindi ko kaya magpaka-plastic pag hindi masaya ang kalooban ko. So the less people, the better. I can handle my feelings & control my emotions better pag kami-kami lang.
2.) NICE accommodation meaning no provincial feel like nipa hut, bamboo bed (see below!), floral bedsheets OR unwashed curtains (see below!!). No dirty floors (see below!!!) & crawling INSECTS. COLD room meaning with aircon (see below!!!!). CLEAN toilets at hindi common na one for all.

Itong si Kap, I love him with all my heart & soul, pero kapag nagtampo, matanim. As in full harvest ok! We’re talking about NOT LESS THAN A WEEK na cold treatment at dabog-dabog with matching grinding of the teeth tuwing kakausapin ko. Ayaw pang makipag-holding hands eh hindi ako makatulog nang hindi kami magka-hawak, hmp! Pinaka-ayoko pa naman ng ganun. Me, I hash it out, then it’s done. Hindi ako historical, hysterical lang. But when I’ve said my peace, lovey-dovey na uli. Itong si Kap, matigas pa sa bato, promise! @_@
But I stood firm. Hindi talaga ako mahilig mag-penitensya ever since. Sila na lang. Pang easter special lang ang drama ko, sorry.
And so, it was time to use my SIL’s birthday gift, I took out the magic agimat & booked a room for my Bae & me en pronto. Thank goodness for my surprise baby! Kung nagkataon, by my lonesome self pala lagi ako since the 2 older kids are water babies & extreme sports fanatics like their dad! 😛

Checking in was as smooth & easy as 1-2-3. And I love the front desk officer who assisted me, CHINO SANTIANO. He was so very warm, courteous, and helpful. Other FDOs should learn a thing or 2 from his bedside manners.

Billeted on the 9th floor, non-smoking room. For a small fee, you may upgrade to the club room for compli meals at the Club Lounge. But since my Bae & I had dinner plans at UMU and lunch plans the next day at Benjarong, we opted not to upgrade anymore since we won’t be using the Club Lounge anyway. Breakfast was to be served in bed, now THIS is the life! 😉
King-sized bed great for late night movies, midnight snacks, and snuggling with my baby love. <3
The bathroom is a bit outdated & small, but still a far cry from Kap’s accommodation in Batangas, lol. Dito na ako!

After checking in, we went to The Pantry for a quick lunch with the mudras & my Kuya who drove us to Dusit Thani Manila, seeing Kap took along ALL the available drivers and then some. 😛 Walang natira!

Since we already partook of the buffet last time, I suggested we try the ala carte menu this time around. They all agreed. Lenten, bastos nga namang magpaka-sobrang busog, lol. Hindi na nga ako nagpenitensya eh, hahaha! 😛
The price for ala carte is an overkill, Buffet is priced at 1.8k+

LUNCH! \m/ Angus Cheese Beef Burger 650 php was the popular choice at our table. Lexington sauce, crispy shallots, lettuce, tomato, calamansi, pickle, and milk bun.
Margherita Flatbread Pizza for my Bae. 650 php. Mozzarella, marinated tomato, Basil oil.
Pad Thai for me. 550 php. Fried rice noodles, tiger prawn, bean curd, garlic chives, peanut, and tamarind. Made more yummy with a generous squeeze of lemon. Omnomnom! <3
Mom’s Crispy Whole Kingfish Escabeche 900 php. (this was really an overkill, promise! 900 for escabeche, really?) Sweet & sour chili paste, capsicum, green onion, coriander, and steamed rice.
MIL’s Charcoal Grilled Prawns 780 php. With sweet & sour chili paste, garlic rice, lime, and shredded vegetable salad.
Joy’s Nasi Goreng Fried Rice 450 php. With cgar-grilled chicken skewer, sunny side egg, local pickle, and prawn cracker. Parang I wanted to trade with her hehe.

I can imagine your situation and Kap’s dismay because your standard and my son’s standard ay iisa!!! Tawa ako ng tawa while reading your post. I get the same reaction from my litol bossing kapag hindi according to his standards ang resort. Nag-aalsa balutan like you. BRRRRRRATSSSS.
