The line for the Cable Car was suuuuper long yesterday, so we decided to come early today instead. We were hoping to get here before 8 in the morning as advised by the driver para wala daw pila. Kaso mo, may daytime dramang naganap so na-late kami naka-alis at nagka-tampuhan ang mag-ama hehe.

Kap was super pissed at us coz we topped-up our sim cards ng tig-$20 each dahil kinulang ang data namin (Data is very important to us, hindi naiintindihan ni kap na kailangan ko kayo i-update ng mga kaganapan dibaaaa?). 😛
—
Akala nyo perfect kami noh? Hindi po. Wala namang perfect family, and ours is no different. May sungitan din kami, tampuhan, inisan along the way lalo na’t nagba-byahe. But of course at the end of the day, bati-bati uli.
—
—
After all’s been said & done, we finally got to the Cable Car station. Awa ng Diyos hindi naman ganun kahaba ang pila at nakasakay din agad kami after a short wait. A single ride ticket costs $7 per person. You can buy your ticket online (faster) or queue if you don’t have internet access. (See how important data is to us Kap my Kap? Kaya magtigil ka.)

The San Francisco Cable Car has been ferrying people across San Francisco’s hills since 1873. It has even been designated a National Historic Landmark. When visiting San Francisco, consider taking a ride on any of the 3 lines: the California line, the Powell-Hyde line or the Powell-Mason line.
—
* If you will notice on the video above, bati na si Linda at si Father Jeff. ;)) Pareho nang naka-smile ng pagkatamis-tamis HAHAHAHAHA! Na-unpossess na silang pareho.
Fisherman’s Wharf is served by three cable car lines, so make sure you know the destination of the trolley you are taking before lining up or you’ll waste a lot of time. The one we took was Powell-Hyde, which leads right to the wharf.
—
Got dropped off at the end of the line which happened to be Fisherman’s Wharf. We were supposed to have lunch at Golden Boy Pizza, which Ate found out, serves focaccia pizza. But since kumakalam na ang mga tyan namin, we just unanimously decided to eat soup again at Boudin’s, which was just right up the alley.

Fisherman’s Wharf, by far, is the most visited place in San Francisco with no less than 12 million visitors annually. It is reportedly the 3rd most visited tourist attraction in the country, after Disneyland and Disneyworld!
As of the last official count, 1,701 sea lions called the Wharf home. Locals restaurant owners dubbed them as “a horde of smelly loudmouths” kasi nga napaka-ingay nila. Kahol ng kahol.
Back at the Boudin Bakery & Cafe at the Wharf for their uber tasty Roasted Tomato Soup in sourdough bread. This time, tig-isa na kami ng order! 😉
—
Explored the wharf some more, then bought several See’s Candies -the only bilin of Irene. Of course I had to get her some chocs for pasalubong! <3 And also a few for me, teehee.
—
I actually prefer See’s to Ghirardelli chocolates. See’s you can only buy in San Francisco. Ghirardelli is readily available & sold anywhere else. See’s Candies is an American manufacturer and distributor of candy, particularly chocolates. It was founded by Charles See, his wife Florence, and his mother Mary in Los Angeles, California in 1921. The company is now headquartered in South San Francisco, California.

Another sightseeing favorite in San Francisco is Lombard Street otherwise known as the crooked street..
—
Lombard Street is a street in San Francisco, California that is famous for a steep, one-block section with eight hairpin turns. The famous one-block section, claimed to be “the crookedest street in the world”, is located along the eastern segment in the Russian Hill neighborhood. It is a major tourist attraction, receiving around two million visitors per year and up to 17,000 per day on busy summer weekends. Here, we are showing you the opposite sides from where we are standing. 🙂
—
Because you need to go by foot to take photos at Lombard Street, we parked a mere block away for a quick run & shoot. And by quick, I mean less than 10 minutes. We left our heavy coats & some bags in the car thinking we’d be super fast lang, ano naman ang pwedeng mangyari sa loob ng sampung minuto diba? Besides, the neighbourhood looked posh & safe – or so we thought! Tadaaaa..

First time, in our 50 years on earth, have we experienced such travesty! Good thing Bae had the sense to stash her pricey CHANEL Boy Bag under the seat so it was spared! Kung nagkataon, maghahandalusay yan sa kalye hehe. Good thing too that our passports were safe at the bnb, muntikan na kaming mga-TNT sa Sanfo kung saka-sakali. Lesson of the YEAR ito!
Scene of the crime (L) vs. result of the crime (R). Who would have thought may nakawang mangyayari dito sa napaka-disenteng lugar? Alamo Rent a Car replaced our car right away – they said they weren’t surprised at all since this thing was a regular occurrence in good ‘ol Sanfo, kalurkey. Just a few standard questions asked for insurance purposes, and we were once again on our way to more mischief & misadventures!

The trip back to the airport for the car exchange wasted our precious time, considering we only had 3 days to spend in San Francisco, and today was our last day too, boo.
Pretty soon, we had to get the boys to their Warriors vs Rockets game at the Oracle Arena.
Because RESALE tickets are super pricey, Kap & Babyson thought long & hard on which games they wanted to watch. In the end, the Golden State Warriors won out.
They will watch another last game in Los Angeles, our last leg.
If it were up to me, I’d like them to watch in every state, bihira lang naman. But Kap doesn’t like to overindulge & spend unnecessarily.
Tickets are always sold out so Babyson had to look for RESALE tickets which costs considerably MORE than the retail price. They shelled out around $200 each to watch a game here. Sulit naman kasi first game nila abroad, and these 2 are major basketball fans. <3 Money is hard-earned to be enjoyed naman paminsan-minsan, right? Na-extend pa ang game, so bonus na.
—
While the boys were enjoying the game, I did some last-minute labada while Ate ordered delivery from Jade Cafe. Naka-jackpot din kami kasi super sarap our last meal in Sanfo! \m/
The boys were coming home late from the game, so the girls & I ate ahead & made for an early night. All the excitement got us winded!

I really thought San Francisco would be my favorite state, but after this experience, nagbago na ang isip ko, lol. Lahat nalang yata ng sulok ng mundo may nakawan.
Let us take a moment & bow our heads & pray for world peace! 😉 Goodnight.
