UK Visa x Crepe Amelie

One thing I hate when travelling abroad is the preparation of the many, many , MANY documents prior to the actual departure. It is so time-consuming & such a big hassle for everyone concerned. I get that the host countries are afraid we will immigrate to greener pastures, T.N.T. (tago ng tago) and not return, but really, do you need ALL the documents you are asking for? NKKLK ha!

Can’t we come up with a TRAVEL VISA card that when you swipe it, lahat ng importanteng detalye nandoon na? Less carbon footprint pa. So, let’s say you have to go to several countries, you just need to acquire, update, and swipe a card that stores all your updated & pertinent info and voila you’re good to go? Utang na loob.

For our pending 1-month trip, we have to get at least 3 travel visas to cover the areas we want to visit. That’s THREE separate documents and THREE separate embassy visits. Why can’t they bring back the old dropbox system? It’s just so much more convenient for everyone huhu.

Thankful that the UK Embassy’s system is waaaay better than the other philippine government agencies. Sa totoo lang. We proceeded in a orderly manner, but still a long wait.

Thankful to SWIRE TRAVEL for taking care of all our travel needs. 5 kami, so sobrang matrabaho.

After 2 hours, we finally finished our visa application to the UK. Here’s keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed that we get approved. May tickets na kaya kami! 😛

Because we started our day early, and hurriedly too might I add, we were all famished, not having had breakfast. Ate took us to a new crepe place near the area..

Crepe Amelie

Ground Floor, A.Venue Mall, 7829 Makati Avenue, Philippines (02) 750 9946 ; (02) 750 9948

A. Venue is near Century City Mall. It gave me an “Araneta Center/Gateway/Cubao” vibe with stalls scattered all over. Call me a snob, but I don’t like this A. Venue mall. 😛 I can’t pinpoint why exactly, I just didn’t find it nice.

I liked the crepe place though. And these 3 people. 😉 Very very much.

Ate’s Veggie Mix 200 php. Spinach, zucchini, olives, tomato, onions & mushroom. What a beautiful, colorful plate. Just like its owner! 😉

And because we’re such hungry pigs with bottomless pits for tummies. Takeout -half of which we ate right there & then coz we just couldn’t resist, lol! <3 Assorted flavored crepes. Omnomnom! Loving the crepe cakes from Crepe Amelie as much as the ones from Paper Moon, at a fraction of the price too! \m/

It’s already end of April and we still haven’t moved! Wtf? Naiiyak na ako! Baka mauna pa kaming lumayas bago makalipat huhuhu. Kap, double time please! @_@
