My Lovey & I weren’t feeling up to going with 3/5th of the GOppets to their nth dive in Anilao. They are at sea most of the day anyway, leaving my bunso & I twiddling with our thumbs & nothing to do.

We can’t enjoy the beach as it’s sobrang mabato & too wavy. The last time I tried I got plenty of gashes on my legs that took ages to heal. And 2 lang kami baka matangay kami sa malakas na alone. Umabot pa kami ng Cambodia!
And so we stayed. The morning, my Lovey & I went to the mall, ate, looked around -basically killed hours & minutes. No time to think about the missing links. But just a night without Kap, ate & my babyson and I started missing the rest of my brood. We all sleep together so the room looked empty, even with our dear Jela snoring ever so loudly on the bed. I got sad that we followed suit the next day & decided to surprised them.
On our way to Batangas, my Lovey & I made a quick stop at Breakfast at Antonio’s in Tagaytay for a quick brunch & also to buy pasalubong.

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. At Breakfast at Antonio’s, they take this adage very seriously.
Breakfast at Antonio’s serves an all-day breakfast menu designed to awaken the senses. From comforting breakfast favorites and European brunch fares to classic deli favorites and sweet treats, their heartwarming menu complements the restaurant’s relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. Freshly baked bread and homemade jams, curds, and yogurt as well as prepared meats—all these add to the restaurant’s rustic charm.

We reached Batangas late afternoon, which was fine because at least we had only a couple of hours left to kill before we went back home. Konting twiddling of thumbs lang. So to pass the time we stayed on the shore & got our feet wet a bit on the shallow part. As expected, ang dami ko na namang uwing galos huhu!

Don’t worry Ate, we’ll go back to Breakfast at Antonio’s soon so you can also try the yummy breads & so many other interesting things on the menu. :-*
