I’ve always intimated how lucky I am to have daughters who are not pakawala & boy crazy. Not only are they studious & goal-oriented, they are also pure of heart, mind, body & soul. I know of girls who change boyfriends like they change underwear. I always thank God that mine are not like that. I never tire of reminding them to value themselves & wait for God’s perfect match.

Loving my daughters is such pure pleasure because they make motherhood so easy -right from the start. Never ako nahiraapan sa pagpapalaki sa kanila. I’d do anything & everything for them if I could.

Since I can remember, they’ve always been each other’s Valentine. But that could very well change soon as Kap & I have been secretly praying for Ate’s close-to-perfect & literally BETTER half now that she’s turning a ripe age of 25, lol. Baka nga last year nya na ito na single, so I took the opportunity of sending them surprise bouquets in school.

The idea came to me, really, when I chanced upon a sponsored post on Instagram by PETALS & PEONIES PH. A random flower shop selling peonies. Ate has always had a fascination with peonies, ito daw ang favorite flower nya pero wag ka, ni hindi pa sya nakakakita ng ganitong bulaklak in person hahaha! 😛

Sabi ko, sige nga, maka-order at padalhan ng bulaklak itong 2 mokong para medyo kiligin naman sa buhay. ;)) I placed an order for a pink peony arrangement for Ate, and a virginal & pure pink rose bouquet for my not so little one.

For the resident princess, I got the Peony Bouquet. Pink round blooms matched with assorted premium flowers and foliage.

For my baby girl, I ordered the Pink Roses Korean inspired Bouquet. 10pcs of Pink Roses mixed with White Carnations and Fillers.

Sobrang dusa sakin itong Petals & Peonies hehe. From the time I placed my order in January until the day of the delivery itself, I kept hounding them to make sure the flowers are fresh & that my surprise will REALLY be a surprise. Nagsisisi siguro sila ng major major kung bakit nahanap ko pa sila hahaha. THANK YOU PETALS & PEONIES!! The flowers were super fresh & beautiful, at kamukhang-kamukha talaga ng nasa advertised picture!

Between the 2 girls, Ate is the less emotional one (as in pusong bato yan), so I was surprised when she had this intense reaction upon receiving her bouquet. Aba, nagiiyak bigla ang gaga. Akala siguro galing sa manliligaw, nadismaya bigla nung nalaman sa sa akin lang pala galing hahaha! JK! Peace Ate. ;))

Of course, aside from the 2 girls (kalimutan nyo na si Babyson at wala na talaga akong pagasa maka-valentine jan), Kap & I had our own Valentine (sans flowers as usual, lol).

Dear girls, one day, your Prince Charmings will come & take you away from me. They’ll (hopefully) do all sorts of cheesy gestures & give you all kinds of nice stuff to make you swoon & happy and forget about dear old mum.

But until then, it is my utmost pleasure to love and spoil you & make you ladies feel as special & as uniquely wonderful as you are.

I love you so so much Mana & Meni, and I’m the luckiest mommy alive to have close to perfect children like you! (sige na nga, Jonah included hihi). #luckymemommy
