Last undas, Kap got it into his crazy head that we should go to Anilao for some water activities. As usual, I was outvoted. Nag-road trip kami ng hindi oras!

When Kap plans a road trip, I know for certain, it means ROUGHING IT. First order of business. Kainan sa turn-turo. 😐 Lunch at Treehouse Restaurant & Resort.

I have happy kids. Wherever we take them be it grand or simple, they find ways to be happy. I have such good kids. I’m glad & thankful that they’re not like their metikulosang mommy. I’m trying, I really am.

Okay gratitude challenge. I’m thankful for the saran-wrapped crispy pata para hindi madapuan ng langaw! 😛

Finally after 2 hours (time that we also get to SM Megamall -grabe!) we finally reached our destination in Batangas. Kap is a suki of VISTA APLAYA. He’s been there a couple of times with just our babyson for water play. To read my previous post, CLICK HERE.

Vista Aplaya is better than most of the resorts Kap has booked us into. Not 5-star, alam nyo namang maarte akong tunay, but clean & decent. And MUCH BETTER than when he took us to PHILPAN! @_@ The bedroom & bathroom are spacious albeit old.  But you know me, I’m not the nature type so anything woodsy, bamboo-y or mabato-bato & sandy, huwag among tanungin coz you won’t get a positive reaction from me talaga sorry. I’m a city girl through & through.

I kept mostly to myself in the cool air-conditioned room, catching up on blogging, while Kap & the kids frolicked. When not in the room, I was content watching them have fun from this covered veranda which is just outside our room.

And soon enough, Kap was paddling away.

Followed suit by our kids who thankfully got their active lifestyle from him, and not from couch potato mom! 😛

The body she has worked so hard for! <3

The next day, Kap was able to persuade me to venture out. ANG BATO HA! Ang dami kong gasgas from the sharp corals huhuhu. Being a diabetic, my wounds take super long pa naman to heal.

Because I’m a spoiled brat, Kap took care of every detail so I’ll shut up. Hahaha kawawang Kap! 😛 Taga-lagay ng sunscreen, taga-suot ng beach shoes, taga-bitbit ng tubig at sombrero! He really is my knight in shining armor. I’m so lucky! <3

No. This is just for photo op. This kayak is not sturdy enough to carry my weight. LULUBOG SI URSULA!

Speaking of undas, my next halloween costume, by the way! 😉

Nope, he’s not proposing, lels. He coaxing me to sit on his lap because I was threatening to go back to the room. But then, LAMBINGAN??? GAME! ;P

Hay. Reklamador lang ako by nature.. when it comes to nature. But deep down, of course I loved liked was ok with our time spent together as a family. I’m all bark & no bite. At the end of the day, home is where the heart is. So if the beach is where they want to be.. PWEDE BANG SA SHANGRILA NAMAN??? 😛
