I’ve been hearing about Jill’s since time immemorial but we’ve never set foot inside. It’s one of the oldest joints in BGC but Kap & I are not the heavy drinking & partying kind of people, we are more of the eating & sit-back-and-enjoy a movie type, so Jill’s never came up in our list of bar/restos to visit.
That is until the lovely Bea invited us for the surprise birthday party of her hubby Jean Henri Lhuillier a couple of Wednesday nights ago as he turned 45. And whadya know! We fit right in with the ’80s music. There’s a nonstop mix of songs that came on the heels of the golden era of punk-New Wave-disco in the ’70s. Perfect for Kap & Moi coz we’re true blue 70’s-80’s babies! m/

The band that JHL’s thoughtful wife hired that night was HYPERBEAT. My, they bring back a lot of fun & happy memories from a thousand years ago when I still knew how to party. Who among you know Hyperbeat? C’mon now! Imposibleng ako lang ang 80’s baby noh! 😛

JHL is one lean mean killing machine on the courts. Be it tennis or basketball. Kap is always on his team, thus enjoying most of the dining perks when they win games haha.
