Day 18

Woke up to this.. ;))

IMG_8375

Good morning Manila! Guess what I saw after waking up? My honeypie busy at work ironing our clothes lol. Ako na ang pinagpala! Tapos na ang labada, tapos na magkula, nakasampay na, nakahanda na ang almusal, ngayon naman plantsa na! Sige na nga, chinese food all the way na tayo. Aprub! Thank you my hunny for ALWAYS taking care of us & our needs. What did I ever do to deserve you?? Kaso hindi kabayo yang pinagpaplantsahan mo ha #thedomesticationofkapitankunat #kapsfirsttime #likeavirgin #akonaangmissuniversengbuhaynya

Nothing left for me to do. Prisesang-prinsesa! Kap’s language of love is service, he shows his love to us by constant TLC. Lots of it. <3

Kap is getting domesticated by the day ha, lol. Aba, marunong narin mag-plantsa ngayon. Mabubuhay na kami sa London. Ano kids, migrate na tayo? Pwede si Jela dito #englishbulldog

img_8376

Kap is an early riser. So pag gising namin handa na lahat. Everyone should marry a Kap like mine, wala nang hahanapin pang iba. 🙂

img_8378

My breakfast view. <3 Adorbs! Still #kiliggity after 30 years. Blessup!

Left early for a full day of activities. First on the agenda, Stonehenge, a 2.5 – 3 hour drive from the city proper depending on the traffic situation. Entrance fee to Stonehenge: 18.20 GB/pax or roughly 1.2k php each.

Sobrang tiyaga ni Kap to drive us around. I know how tired he is every single day because of our adventures but he still tries to accommodate all our whims. <3

Lokong babyson, manang-mana talaga sa tatay nya! ;))

img_3190

A well-deserved kiss for all his troubles. Kulang pa! ;P

img_8404

Stonehenge is one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. A must-see when you visit England.

img_8402

Stonehenge‘s ring of standing stones are set within earthworks in the middle of the most dense complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred burial mounds. Archaeologists believe it was constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC. Thank you my Honey for taking us here, such a spectacular view made more beautiful because I got to see it with you. :-*

collage2

There was a silent protest on-going, FREE STONEHENGE! Oo nga naman, dapat libre na yan. Sali ako, lol.

The long drive was really worth the view. <3

Chinese take out for our late lunch. Namimihasa na si Kap ha. Puro nalang chinese food napapala ko sa London, hmp!

collagea

Kap deserves a treat, kaya pikit-mata nalang ako sa paulit-ulit na chinese food, wahaha!

collageb

Kap is really maabilidad. He found a folding table in the trunk of our car. Grabe, ibang level na ito! Picnic at the park, lol.

img_8416

For dessert, ice cream. Pinagbigyan ako, yahoo! \m/

Perks of having a son, katulong sa pagbubuhat ng mabibigat na gamit at pag-drive. Walang mapapala si Kap sa mga prinsesa nya, lol.

img_8432

Thank you babyson for taking over the driving duties when dad needs a power nap. Mahaba-habang byahe rin ito.

Up next, Windsor Castle. Entrance fee: 1.3k php each.

img_8434

Dito umaangal si Kap, super mahal ang entrance fee. More than 5k/tourist spot kami kaya dapat lang talagang sulitin ang ikot, lol. Bawal pa mag-peechur inside waaaaah. Sayaaang.

img_8437

Windsor Castle is a royal residence at Windsor in the English county of Berkshire. It is notable for its long association with the English and later British royal family and for its architecture.

img_8460

Inside the castle walls is the 15th-century St George’s Chapel, considered by the historian John Martin Robinson to be one of the supreme achievements of English Perpendicular Gothic design.

img_8454

Originally designed to protect Norman dominance around the outskirts of London and oversee a strategically important part of the River Thames, Windsor Castle was built as a motte-and-bailey, with three wards surrounding a central mound.

img_8459

Windsor Castle is a popular tourist attraction, a venue for hosting state visits, and the preferred weekend home of Elizabeth II. Today, more than 500 people live and work in the castle -the largest inhabited castle in the world.

img_8445

The castle behind us is off limits. This is the residence of the queen. Knock, knock.. tao pooooo?

We wanted to do Bath today too but due to time constraints, we had to forego. Bath closes at 5pm. Wala kaming aabutan. We were, however, able to catch a glimpse of Legoland Resort! \m/ It closes at 5pm as well so hanggang labas lang kami. It’s more fun with Ate anyway, so maybe next time. 🙂

img_8479

The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort is a family theme park where kids & kids at heart can take to the road, soar through the skies and sail the seas in complete safety. It has over 55 interactive rides, attractions, live shows, building workshops and driving schools, not to mention a staggering 80 million LEGO® bricks, all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.

img_8453

There’s also the option to extend a visit to a sleepover at the fully LEGO themed, 150 room LEGOLAND Hotel situated right in the heart of the Resort.

It’s times like these that I wish Ate were still with us touring, she would really have appreciated the history & culture. Don’t worry Ate, may kasunod ito promise. One day, someday.

Dinner at FIVE GUYS. I flat-out refused another chinese meal. Break na muna ha!

collageb

I liked the dry burgers, kinda reminds me of the burgers Kap grills at home. Yum! And all those free toppings & peanut too wheeeeee! Burger dinner: 2.5k php.

Bukas, Ashford outlets naman. Mwahaha, love ko na ang London. Love na love! 😉
