Ever since my adoptive sister (cousin) got married, which was a couple of months ago, Mudra has been living alone with a helper for company. She has too much pride to want to live with me or my brother. She wants her independence so she refuses to live with either one of us.

If she were to live with me, then she’d have MIL for company & she won’t be so lonely. But no. 😐

At 85, life can be sad if you don’t have anyone in your life. And most of all if you have no hobby. She doesn’t like watching movies or the telly. She can’t walk far in the mall because she’s so frail now. Her reading consists mostly of the Bible. She doesn’t eat out. So I really really feel so sad for her & we try to visit her as much as we can, but the kids get bored 30 minutes within stepping into her house. Walang wifi! 😛 #Lamna

So whenever we can, we take her along our foodtrips. Sa malalapit lang coz she doesn’t like sitting too long in one place -like the car, nababagot sya. Hay, so many restrictions.

One day we were all craving for White Chicken, or otherwise popularly known as Hainanese Chicken. And Kap knows the best (and cheapest) place to get those! At Toho Antigua. So off we went, the whole battalion.

We used to frequent the one in BF but Alvin (the owner) transferred his Las Pinas branch to the mall & has expanded to SM outlets. Once a resto branches out, nagiiba na ang quality of food & service.

Which is what we realized when we went to the Toho Antigua SM Paranaque branch.Too late when we found out that they also have a branch in SM Southmall, lumayo pa kami! 😛

Toho Beef Tenderloin 220 php ; Canton with Seafood 200 php.

White Chicken. Half 180 php | Whole 360 php. In fairness, the chicken is plump & juicy, and best value for money at only 360 for 1 whole. \m/

And as we were paying, ang haba pa rin ng pila sa labas. Toho is really value for money. Magaling talaga si Kap pumili. 😛

Have you noticed? Nawalan ako ng “bloom” at “sparkle”since I started working for the family company again ahuhuhu. It’s draining the life out of me, I swear. As I was editing my photos I noticed nawala yung happy glow ko & my smile doesn’t reach my eyes na. Mukhang pagoda cold wave lotion ever. Anubah.
